Siamo diventati più selettivi e pretenziosi, incapaci di andare in profondità.
Uno dei grandi mali del secolo, infatti, è la depressione. La vita pare perdere valore.
Siamo come isole separate, anche se perennemente collegate. Manca il vero senso di comunità, mancano valori condivisi, manca una visione del futuro, manca la fede... tutte cose che, bene o male, quelle generazioni avevano.

Quello che apprezzo maggiormente di questa fotografia è la spontaneità di queste persone. In generale non si atteggiano, sono se stesse, trasparenti nel bene o nel male.
Non so se condividi, ma in molte fotografie di oggi spesso i soggetti mi sembrano o tutti esageratamente felici, oppure estremamente cupi. Pare quasi che se non si interpreti un 'ruolo', un mood, la fotografia, o il protagonista, sia meno interessante.
Queste foto, invece, le apprezzo per la loro autenticità!
