Particolare la differente tempistica con la quale i caprioli puliscono il palco e iniziano la muta. Nonostante a valle siano già spelacchiati e col palco quasi completamente pulito, questo maschietto fotografato a circa 2200 metri di quota ha ancora la pelliccia perfettamente invernale ed il palco in velluto. Riposava nel fitto di una cembreta e ci siamo accorti l'uno dell'altro quando ormai eravamo a pochi metri di distanza: mentre di solito se la danno a gambe in mezzo secondo, questo esemplare, forse più stizzito di essere stato svegliato che spaventato, mi ha squadrato ben bene prima di andarsene con estrema lentezza, quasi passeggiando... :)
