Schio (VI), capitale laniera italiana e continentale. In parte ancora lo è. Il Lanificio Conte è ancora in attività, da oltre 200 anni, con i nuovi impianti nella zona industriale della cittadina veneta. L'originaria struttura in cotto e pietra locale si estende lungo il corso della Roggia Maestra da cui traeva la forza motrice per la produzione. Vi sono i locali che accolgono le turbine aperti alle visite. Il Lanificio più grande e famoso è però il Lanificio Rossi con la sua Fabbrica Alta a pochi passi dal luogo ripreso. Le condizioni migliori per la foto alla Fabbrica Alta si presentano all'alba ma, come è noto, chi dorme....non piglia foto!!
