Ogni anno che riesco ad andare sulle dolomiti almeno un giorno lo dedico allo splendido Passo delle Erbe e al suo Sas de Putia. Non solo per lo splendore del luogo uno dei più belli delle intere dolomiti, ma anche perchè mio figlio si vuol gustare le appetitose tagliatele al ragù di selvaggina del rifugio Utia de Goma che raccomando a tutti! Ju de Börz è il nome ladino del Passo delle Erbe. Il valico è splendidamente incastonato tra i dolci pascoli di Luson a nord e i prati di Pütia con le ripide pareti dell'omonima montagna a sud. Da qui si accede a uno degli ambienti naturali più preziosi dell'Alto Adige Südtirol: il vasto e spettacolare Parco Naturale Puez-Odle, lungo il quale si snodano svariati sentieri escursionistici e di trekking per ogni gusto e grado di difficoltà. Il parco naturale e il Passo delle Erbe, inoltre, offrono la possibilità di praticare innumerevoli attività all'aperto. Il Sass de Putia con i suoi 2.875 m è la montagna più vicina ma sicuramente non l'unica ammirabile e raggiungibile dal Passo delle Erbe. A nord, svettano il monte Gabler e la Plose, con l'omonima area sciistica molto apprezzata nei mesi invernali. A sud-ovest, oltre il Sass de Putia, invece, si possono apprezzare le inconfondibili cime appuntite delle Odle. I sentieri escursionistici, da apprezzare a piedi oppure in mountain bike, sono sicuramente il richiamo principale dell'altopiano del Börz, come è chiamato nella locale lingua ladina. Numerosi itinerari di trekking e passeggiate percorrono il Parco Naturale Puez-Odle e i boschi e pascoli circostanti. Di questi, il più famoso è sicuramente la Roda de Pütia, splendido giro ad anello intorno al Sass de Putia, che porta alla scoperta della montagna simbolo del passo e dei suoi meravigliosi e vasti prati punteggiati da antiche baite. In inverno, il Passo delle Erbe è accessibile solamente dalla Val Badia. Ma anche quando è innevato funge da richiamo per tutti gli amanti della natura e degli sport all'aria aperta. Provate lo sci di fondo o lo slittino su una delle spettacolari piste dedicate, oppure mettete le ciaspole ai piedi ed esplorate la bellezza delle Dolomiti coperte dal bianco manto invernale.
