Penso che tutti conoscano la famosa fotografia originale conosciuta come “Lunch atop a Skyscraper”, siamo a New York nel 1932, durante la costruzione del grattacielo 30 Rockefeller Plaza del Rockefeller Center e la foto ritrae 11 operai durante la pausa pranzo sospesi su una trave di centina al 69° piano a 243 metri dal suolo. Ho sempre amato sin da ragazzo l'opera fotografica eseguita da Charles Clyde Ebbets, e se avessi avuto una cameretta tutta mia sarebbe sicuramente stato uno dei poster appesi al muro. Ora in maturità abbondante ho trovato il modo di rivisitare quel famoso scatto in stile Still Life “molto personale” nella speranza che il buon Charles non si rigiri nella tomba; utilizzando di tutto e di più trovato in casa (e non solo quello) ho messo insieme la versione che vi propongo.
