Mabeda mi ha mostrato come riparava le reti da pesca, tessute in brillanti tonalità di smeraldo. Indossava il kebaya, il tipico indumento indonesiano difficile da definire perché molto vario. La maggior parte dei kebaya ha maniche lunghe e motivi floreali stampati o intessuti sulla stoffa. È realizzato in tessuti leggeri come broccato, cotone, seta o pizzo ed è aperto davanti.
