Una crisalide di macaone del mio allevamento fotografata lo scorso giugno poco prima della nascita. Nelle ore precedenti la crisalide diventa trasparente lasciando intravedere i colori delle ali e anche parte della testa. Mentre la fotografavo, spesso si muoveva con delle improvvise contrazioni, altro segno della nascita imminente. Per assistere alla schiusa sono stato ad osservarla dal sorgere del sole fino al pomeriggio, ed è nato un bellissimo esemplare femmina, a giugno ho già pubblicato una foto della farfalla con il bozzolo vuoto. Erano le 12.30, un orario che non ritengo adatto perché la luce è troppo forte, solitamente non fotografo mai però siccome il soggetto meritava mi sono posizionato nel sottobosco e grazie alla copertura degli alberi ho ottenuto una luce più delicata e uno sfondo gradevole.
