A pochi passi dal centro abitato di Comacchio c'è la laguna, con il suo meraviglioso habitat fatto di acque salmastre, canali naturali, paludi. Un territorio unico e affascinante, un ambiente veramente straordinario, ricchissimo di fauna, un vero paradiso del birdwatching. La navigazione tra canali e antichi casolari dei pescatori (alcuni visitabili) regala molte emozioni; si viene avvolti da un'atmosfera silenziosa, i colori dell'acqua e del cielo si uniscono all'orizzonte creando un magico gioco di riflessi. Numerose specie di uccelli popolano queste zone lagunari ed è facile avvistarli: fenicotteri rosa, falchi, avocette, beccacce e cavalieri d'Italia solo per citarne alcuni esempi. Nelle acque salmastre troviamo numerose varietà di pesci prevalentemente di acqua dolce, ma non è raro scovare branzini, orate e cefali che dal mare penetrano in laguna. Menzione particolare per l'anguilla, da sempre fondamentale per l'economia della zona. L'ecosistema della laguna è fragilissimo e mai come ora, con l'avvento dei cambiamenti climatici e dell'inquinamento, è a rischio. #Parco Delta del Po
