Amboseli National Park (Kenya). La jeep era ferma, alla nostra guida era arrivato l'avviso di un probabile avvistamento, quindi la jena non si è mossa, probabilmente stava allattando i cuccioli, ma l'erba alta ha impedito di vedere chiaramente. Non credo fosse ferita, né che fosse lì ferma per riposare; intorno non c'era nessun altro animale.
