A clarification on the question concerning a possible photomontage (that I had not specified because it was so obvious). This is not a subtle photomontage, but a coarse photomontage on the contrary! Indeed, this one violates, not 1, but 3 optical coherence:

1- it is indeed impossible to obtain two sharp shots so far apart at this focal length (750mm), with such a big stork in the foreground (see hyperfocal calculation).

2- if you look closely, the stork in the foreground passes perpendicular to the ground, while those in the background are part of a group at an angle to the shot, which deforms their wings a little. ..

3- the solar projection is facing the stork in the foreground, and behind the group in the background (but it's harder to notice).

The anecdote of this image is simple:
I parked the car to shoot a group of about 200 storks, which gathered at various altitudes, including the one ringed very close to me. Back home, my wife asked me for the image for Facebook (I don't deal with social networks), but she hesitated between the group photo and that of the stork alone. In less than 5 minutes, I compressed these two images with Gimp, without seeking perfection... (This in order to restore the spectacle that our eyes / brains make us see from the scene).

Finally, to be complete, it would not be impossible (although very unlikely) to obtain this shot with a wide angle, closed diaphragm, lying on the ground while waiting for the storks to pass, including one at ground level (see hyperfocal). But I stopped hoping for such coincidences MrGreen
