Continuano le mie esplorazioni notturne, anche se nelle ultime settimane vento forte e pioggia mi hanno costretto a restare a casa molte volte. Quest'anno ho passato molte notti ad osservare le tane dei gechi verrucosi, è una specie molto difficile da fotografare perché scappano subito quando mi avvicino, soprattutto gli esemplari giovani. Vivono nelle crepe di questa vecchia capanna nel mio terreno, una volta usata per allevare galline. In questo periodo ho notato la presenza di 4 piccoli gechi nati da poco che di notte escono dalle tane per cacciare. Questo in foto è il più grande dei 4, ma comunque molto piccolo. Quando fotografo gli esemplari adulti da questa distanza occupano tutto il centro del fotogramma. Quando mi ha visto arrivare, spaventato dalle luci dei flash è scappato subito in quella fenditura in alto. Sono riuscito a fare solo questa foto, quando ho alzato lo sguardo era già sparito.
