L'Alfa Romeo RL Super Sport aveva una carrozzeria di tipo Torpedo Sport e venne costruita dal 1925 al 1927 in poco meno di 400 esemplari (forse 392). Era dotata di un motore con 6 cilindri in linea di 2994 cm3 erogante da 83 a 89 cavalli di potenza per una velocità massima di circa 130 chilometri orari. E' stata fra le prime vetture Alfa Romeo a fregiarsi del simbolo del Quadrifoglio sulla carrozzeria.
