A Nonantola... in provincia di Modena... presso il Museo Cantina Giacobazzi Gavioli dal 14 maggio al 31 luglio 2022 vi è un'esposizione di vetture e cimeli appartenuti e o dedicati al mitico pilota Gilles Villeneuve di cui in questo 2022 ricorre il quarantesimo anno della sua scomparsa. L'azienda Autobianchi venne fondata nei pressi di Milano nel 1955 e dal 1968 entrò a far parte del Gruppo Fiat. Le Bianchine erano vetturette costruite sull' autotelaio della Fiat Nuova 500 dal 1957 al 1969 e di cui utilizzavano anche buona parte della meccanica. Il primo modello prodotto fu la Trasformabile (vettura a 2 posti) che venne poi affiancato… nel 1960…. dalla versione Cabriolet (sempre a 2 posti) e dalla Berlina 4 Posti. Questa Berlina 4 Posti... che era dotata di tettuccio chiuso... e detta anche Bianchina Televisione per la forma del vetro lunotto posteriore... è diventata molto famosa negli anni a seguire in quanto fu la vettura utilizzata dall'attore genovese Paolo Villaggio quando… cinematograficamente… vestiva i panni del ragionier Ugo Fantozzi. Sempre nel 1960 venne presentata pure la versione lunga della Berlina 4 Posti denominata Panoramica (4 posti) che utilizzava l'autotelaio a passo lungo della Fiat 500 Giardiniera e che insieme a codesta possono essere un po' considerate fra le antesignane delle moderne Station Wagon e dei più recenti SUV. Dalla Panoramica venne poi derivata la versione Furgoncino (cabina a 2 posti più piano di carico posteriore chiuso). Infine… dal 1968… al termine della produzione della versione Panoramica (1969)... il nome Autobianchi comparve su quella che originariamente era la Fiat 500 Giardiniera (vettura a 4 posti)… pure lei una piccola Familiare… che era stata prodotta dalla Fiat dal 1960... anche in versione Furgoncino... e che rimase in produzione fino al 1977. Il termine Giardiniera... che definisce questo tipo di vetturetta... non è da confondere con il similare Giardinetta visto che questo indica la versione Familiare della Fiat 500 Topolino nota anche come Belvedere.
