La vettura in versione Roadster visibile in questa fotografia venne prodotta dalla Nash Motors sita a Kenosha (Wisconsin – USA) dal 1951 al 1954 poi… dal 1953... venne posta in vendita anche in versione Coupé. Mentre in un primo tempo la vettura fu il frutto di una collaborazione con la britannica Healey (Donald Healey Motor Company) nel 1952 alla carrozzeria venne effettuato un restyling che portò il suo assemblaggio in Italia… e più precisamente a Torino presso la Carrozzeria Pininfarina. Inizialmente era dotata di un motore con 6 cilindri in linea di 3850 cm3 che erogava 127 cavalli di potenza poi… dal 1952… la cilindrata aumentò a 4138 cm3 così che la potenza salì a 140 cavalli. Aveva un cambio di velocità di tipo manuale con 3 marce più l'overdrive e la retromarcia. In totale dal 1950... anno di presentazione del primo prototipo avvenuta a Parigi… fra Roadster e Coupé vennero prodotte poco più di 500 vettute (sembra siano 506). Nel fine settimana dei giorni 13 e 14 giugno... nel 1953... una di queste vetture in versione Coupé condotta dagli inglesi Leslie Johnson e Bert Hadley arrivò 11° alla 24 Ore di Le Mans ed a seguito di ciò alcune vetture in versione Coupé e un po' modificate vennero denominate “Le Mans”.
