Himba mother with small patriot ... sent on April 04, 2013 (17:36) by Enrico Chiavassa. 26 comments, 4652 views.

Thanks Maria for your beautiful and very kind message! ;-) Knowing that my shots were able to convey emotions is one of the most beautiful rewards that can receive and is also one of the reasons why I like to share this passion with others. The other reason is to discuss, with the desire to learn and improve, as well as discovering new things as you underline. So thank you again and thanks for your photos (which I really like!), Which from now on will follow with more curiosity and attention! :-):-P
Best wishes and good we, Enrico

interesting pictures, especially viewed from a sociological: the ancient traditions from generation to generation giving way to globalized tastes and habits. With regard to the cap, to mè it seems that relates the colors of the South African flag, not that nabibiana.

Thanks Stephen for the appropriate comments; xchè indeed the yellow headgear strip corresponds to the South African flag, but I do not think that the Himba woman has raised the problem, or that it was moved by a sentimanto patriot who does not belong or tastes persnali ... I wonder how he got there that cap ... probably a South African tourist and she made good use of it.
Good point!
Hello, Henry :-)
