Isola di San Pietro. In una giornata di fortissimo vento, l'aria si incanalava nella gola, tra due pareti verticali ,creando una potente corrente ascensionale. Questo maschio scuro si staccava dal suo “posatoio” in basso e si lasciava andare in balìa del vento risalendo le pareti come un aquilone. Appostato sul crinale di una parete, me lo sono visto apparire all'improvviso, proprio alla mia altezza. Il falco non si è turbato ed ha continuato a veleggiare, con la testa in giù e sollevando completamente la coda per poter controllare il surplace con le sole ali. Uno autentico spettacolo
