La Ferrari 308 GTS ( Gran Turismo Scoperta) è una versione Targa della GTB (Gran Turismo Berlinetta) dove il solo tettuccio centrale è asportabile e fu costruita dal 1977 al 1985 nelle versioni GTS , GTSi... dotata di iniezione elettronica... e GTS Quattrovalvole. Divenne famosa in quanto era la vettura condotta da Tom Selleck nelle vesti di Thomas Sullivan Magnum IV nella famosa serie televisiva statunitense degli anni '80 dello scorso secolo Magnum P. I. Il suo propulsore era situato in posizione centrale posteriore ed era dotato di 8 cilindri disposti a V di 90°di 2926 cm3 che erogando 255 cavalli di potenza massima portava la vettura a circa 250 chilometri di velocità massima. La trazione era sulle ruote posteriori. Il telaio era di tipo tubolare e la carrozzeria veniva prodotta dalla Carrozzeria di Sergio Scaglietti a Maranello (Mo). Questa immagine fu scattata con l'ausilio di un lampeggiatore Nikon SB-800.
