Degli animali che hanno avuto stretto contatto con l'uomo, il cavallo e il cane sono stati quelli che con noi hanno condiviso un'amicizia secolare. Ma il cavallo è stato rimpiazzato per la guerra dai carri armati e per i trasporti dalle auto e i camion , si può dire quindi che non ha più quella stretta relazione che aveva con l'uomo nel passato, mentre per il cane è diverso ed anche in questa era tecnologica continua la sua storia secolare di amicizia con noi.
