at 112mm, 1/1000 f/5.6, ISO 320, hand held.

La vettura numero 15 è una Automobiles Rally ABC Sports... e fu costruita in Francia nel 1928... mentre quella inseguitrice... con il numero 20... è una nostrana Lancia Lambda VIII Serie Tipo 223 a Passo Corto in versione Torpedo... pure lei assemblata nell'ormai lontano 1928. La Automobiles Rally costruì vetture dal 1921 al 1934 nell'azienda che aveva sede nei pressi di Parigi. La ABC Sports visibile nella fotografia (ABC = abaissée... cioè telaio ribassato) fu costruita dal 1927 al 1930 con tre differenti motorizzazioni a 4 cilindri in linea di 1093, 1170 e 1494 cm3 che in alcuni casi furono dotati di compressore volumetrico. La 1100 visibile in questa fotografia raggiungeva i 135 chilometri orari di velocità massima per merito dei 31 cavalli erogati dal suo propulsore in versione aspirata. Nel biennio 1932-33 alcune di queste vetture parteciparono alla 1000 Miglia. La Lancia Lambda invece venne costruita dal 1923 al 1931 in 9 serie e differenti allestimenti. Questa fotografata appartiene all'VIII Serie costruita dal 1928 al 1930 ed è una Tipo 223 a Passo Corto in versione Torpedo. Dotata di un motore con 4 cilindri a V di 2569 cm3 erogante 69 cavalli poteva raggiungere i 120 chilometri orari. Molte Lancia Lambda parteciparono anche a diverse edizioni della 1000 Miglia fin dalla sua prima edizione... quella partita sabato 26 marzo 1927... dove ne erano presenti ben 10 esemplari di cui 5 iscritti dalla stessa Lancia.
