Palazzo di Milano sorto nel 1565 e situato in quella che è, oggigiorno, Via degli Omenoni offre, senza dubbio alcuno, molteplici spunti di grande interesse, a partire proprio dal suo primo proprietario, ovvero Leone Leoni. Infatti, la si deve proprio a lui, cesellatore e scultore che fu al servizio sia di Carlo V d'Asburgo così come di Filippo II di Spagna, la nascita di quella che è divenuta celebre a Milano come la Casa degli Omenoni. Nominata nel 1542 scultore della Zecca di Milano, ne fece l'abitazione sua e del figlio, anch'esso scultore. Entrambi mercanti d'arte e celebri collezionisti, realizzarono una eclettica e celebre collezione di opere realizzate da quelli che erano al tempo i maggiori artisti così come di oggetti appartenenti all'arte antica. Ne facevano parte, ad esempio, opere realizzate da Correggio e da Tiziano, calchi in gesso di statue classiche, così come la collezione dei disegni di Leonardo da Vinci. Tuttavia, quello che colpisce ancora oggi il visitatore, è la facciata di Casa degli Omenoni. Gran parte del valore aggiunto di Casa degli Omenoni, è offerto proprio dalla ricchezza dei suoi elementi decorativi, dal suo rigore architettonico e dall'alternarsi sulla sua facciata di festoni, chimere, aquile, leoni e cariatidi. Un vero e proprio inno ad una elegante ornamentazione.
