02.07.2021 Scatto dalla canoa. La nostra prima specie target di questo viaggio era il Becco a Scarpa. Una specie molto elusiva, presente anche in altre zone dell'Africa, ma quasi mai avvicinabile. In Uganda, nella regione paludosa del Lago Vittoria sono presenti pochi esemplari (15-20) che, con la giusta dose di fortuna, si riescono a 'catturare' con scatti anche a relativa breve distanza. Un vero faccia a faccia con la Preistoria :-) Shot from the canoe. Our first target species on this trip was the Scarpa-Beak. A very elusive species, also present in other areas of Africa, but almost never approachable. In Uganda, in the swampy region of Lake Victoria there are few specimens (15-20) which, with the right amount of luck, can be 'captured' with shots even from a relatively short distance.
