Alagna, Alpe Campo Superiore.

Stephen :-)
I read your exciting story about the Giau Pass (the photo is also wonderful), you know the mountain certainly better than me, so your comment is particularly appreciated. Thank you very much.
Pinitti :-)

A relic to preserve and jealously protect for the history and culture of mountaineering. Sacred monuments for those who love the mountain in all its expressions like me. Image that is worth a trip. Super congratulations also for the historical explanation, very good Roberto.
bye gios ;-)

I am pleased that an authentic connoisseur of the mountain like you, Gios, appreciates these finds of mountaineering history. I, as a simple hiker, limit myself to documenting its existence and admire the passion and tenacity of the first builders of that refuge up there, a company that, with the means then available, seems to me to be at the limits of the impossible.
Thank you, good evening.
Robert
