Valle di Slingia/Schliniger Tal, gruppo del Piz Sesvenna/Sesvennagruppe ... agosto 2021 ... Con i suoi 3204 metri di altitudine la singolare vetta del Piz Sesvenna, massima elevazione delle Alpi della Val Mustair, domina il pianoro sommitale della bellissima ed amena valle di Slingia, nel territorio di Malles Venosta. Superato il salto glaciale della Schwarze Wand e risalita la spettacolare cascata che rumoreggia sulle scure pareti di roccia, si incontra l'austero edificio della Pforzheimer Hutte, rifugio abbandonato nel secondo dopoguerra e rimpiazzato dal vicino Sesvenna Hutte; il sentiero prosegue poi in leggera ascesa traversando il biotopo naturale della Torbiera Bassa Uina fino ai 2330 metri dello Schlinigpass ed ai verdissimi pascoli della Alp Sursass, già in territorio svizzero ... oggi battuto da escursionisti "di confine", lo stesso percorso era un tempo frequentata rotta di contrabbando tra le vallate atesine e quelle del Canton Grigioni! ...
