La Osella Engineering… più nota come Osella Corse o anche solamente come Osella… prese vita da Vincenzo “Enzo” Osella nel 1965 dopo che aveva lasciato la Abarth dove ricopriva diverse cariche fra cui quella di collaudatore. Da sempre specializzata nella progettazione e costruzione di vetture Sport Prototipo in passato l'Osella fu presente anche in Formula Ford, in Formula 2, in Formula 3 e partecipò ai Campionati Mondiali di Formula 1 dal 1980 al 1990. La vettura FA 1 I qui visibile in fotografia... condotta da Franco Forini nel giorno del suo esordio in Formula 1... era spinta da un motore Alfa Romeo biturbo frazionato in 8 cilindri disposti a V di 1496 cm3. Il nome del propulsore Alfa Romeo non compariva sulla vettura... per volere della Fiat... che lo fece invece denominare Osella V8. Questa immagine è stata scannerizzata da materiale analogico. La fotocamera utilizzata fu una Canon F1 New dotata di un'obiettivo Canon FD 300 L f 2,8 e caricata con pellicola Kodacolor 100 ASA. Il tempo di scatto ed il diaframma indicati sotto la fotografia non sono da tenere in considerazione.
