Tutte le foto sono coperte da copyright. Il faro di Hirtshals è uno dei più celebri della Danimarca. E' lì dal 1863, è alto 35 metri e sorge su un avamposto a 22 metri sul livello del mare. La bellezza selvaggia di questo tratto di Jutland nasconde a fatica una storia di dolore. Hitler, temendo uno sbarco di forze alleate in Europa, fece realizzare un vasto sistema di fortificazioni costiere dalla Normandia fino alla Danimarca. Migliaia di persone furono costrette ai lavori forzati. Restano ancora molti bunker attorno al faro, un museo a cielo aperto. Tra i bunker, ce n'è uno pieno di fiori. Un cartello chiede, per cortesia, di annaffiarli. E c'è un tavolino con due sedie che guardano al mare. Un secondo cartello dice che è sempre gradito se qualcuno si siede e beve un bicchiere di birra. Se vi scambiate un bacio. Ci sono disegni e lettere, insieme all'indirizzo dell'Associazione che ha trasformato in giardino il minuscolo bunker e si occupa di mantenerlo bello, pulito. Perché si può sempre fare qualcosa: anche coltivare rose sul cemento. Io ho trovato questo luogo contemporaneamente molto triste e romantico, un faro tra cespugli di rosa canina e bunker!!!
