alle 6 del mattino partiamo da Padum (Zanskar) e percorriamo a ritroso la valle del Suru - una giornata intera in fuoristrada per arrivare a Kargil (crocevia tra Ladakh e Kasmir) - il viaggio è faticoso ma si svolge in un ambiente selvaggio tra Himalaya e Karakorum con la montagna più alta che è il Nun-Kun (7.100 m)- A Kargil avremo una doccia "vera" dopo una settimana di alloggi spartani, che comunque sono risultati sufficienti, basta adattarsi. Qui in attesa della cena ci rilassiamo al nostro piccolo hotel e la sera ci regala queste luci quasi a coronamento di questo viaggio affascinante-
