Jotunaimen, dimora dei Giganti. qui è il gruppo di montagne più elevate di Norvegia- il monte Galdhopiggen con i suoi 2.469 m è il più alto di Norvegia- partiti da Oslo e transitati alla famosa cittadina di Lillehammer , giunti a Lom abbiamo intrapreso la salita per questo passo- in realtà sono immensi rilievi ondulati ricchi di muschi e licheni, il perfetto habitat delle renne - camminare su questo terreno è come camminare su una spessissima moquette- la discesa porta poi a Skjolden dove inizia il fiordo più lungo di Norvegia, il Sognefjiord. Dopo averlo costeggiato quasi del tutto alcune deviazioni portano a Bergen , una bellissima cittadina "sul colle" che è anche un po' il significato del nome- analogie con Berghem (Bergamo) città alta sul colle
