L'ultimo gioiello di questa passeggiata senese è la Pieve di San Giovanni Battista, nota comunemente come pieve di Ponte allo Spino. Come non restare incantati di fronte alla plasticità della pieve che si staglia isolata nella piana su un prato ben tenuto e piante d'alto fusto che ne segnano e delimitano i confini così come sono posti su differenti piani prospettici Il sito non lascia indifferenti, lo spirito che aleggia tra le antiche mura dai colori caldi e dalle armoniche architetture è soave, ispira pace e serenità.
