Lasciato il romitorio l'escursione ci farà fare un vero e proprio salto attraverso i secoli, portandoci dal Seicento al medioevo, ci si inoltra in un bosco di roverelle ed in pochi minuti giungeremo in vecchi coltivi abbandonati sui quali prosperano biancospini e rose canine, un piccolo cimitero abbandonato ancora delimitato dal suo muro di cinta ci ospita all'uscita dal bosco. Nei campi incolti fanno bella mostra alcuni gelsi che caratterizzano il panorama assieme alla Pieve.
