l'Annapurna (uno dei 14 ottomila della terra) non è una sola montagna ma una catena disposta quasi a ferro di cavallo. il suo nome significa dea dei raccolti o dell'abbondanza - nell'immagine la concatenazione con la cima Gangapurna e Annapurna III - si completa poi con il Machapuchare (coda di pesce) tra le montagne più belle al mondo per la sua duplice e arditissima cima. Essere tra questi colossi e attendere il tramonto in una serata limpidissima oltre che essere fantastico sembra essere irreale- con il buio totale poi il cielo sembra essere irreale dallo splendore delle stelle - l'Annapurna I pur non essendo tra gli ottomila più alti è senza dubbio tra i più difficili e pericolosi. La prima volta in Nepal per un'esperienza tra 4 amici del mio paese con la promessa di ritonarci e così è stato (regione dell'Everest) o Sagarmatha "dea madre della terra"
