at 428mm, 1/2500 f/7.1, ISO 1000, hand held. Laguna Nord di Venezia, Italy. Specie: Threskiornis aethiopica

18 aprile 2021, Argine dell'Osellino. Focale effettiva 428 mm.

Hi Mauro, you posted a wonderful image, a click that overall is not easy to do, I also find beautiful the quality of light that illuminates the subject. Always very good. I agree with you for what you wrote in the caption, in my part there are a myriad of cormorants, herons, hand-guarded, egrets, crows, ladre magpies, life around the river is no longer what it used to be, first of all there are no more collared natrice snakes and viperine biscia, idem for trout, temoli, cavedani that have decreased greatly, but I say, where do those who lead the protection of our native environment take us? In time we will see some beautiful ones. Sorry the chatter
Ciao, good night and good start to the week

Hi, I totally agree with your chatter, and thankfully someone who occasionally shares concerns about these invaders finds themselves.
Ibis are generally happy with the presence of the Ibis, they see you with the car in their hands and immediately warn you that there are 20 ibis later.
This think that once for having said they were harmful I took the deicide... (Sacred Ibis, symbol of some Egyptian god...). In addition to not appreciating biodiversity...
I haven't seen a bottle in these areas for a long time, but with covid I know or come out less and the winter is just over.
Buona night to you.

I'm not an expert and the other day I found three at the door lake (montignoso Massa)
Naturally surprise prevailed and I didn't know how much you wrote , but the surprise was also a
cinghialino swimming fast, slowly life in oases for many species will be increasingly difficult.
It remains yours a beautiful shot
compliments

Thank you all, very kind.
I still remain confident, and hopeful, that nature will somehow find its own balance.

Thanks Claudio, said by you... :-D
I'm trying harder, despite the material.
Ibis are slow.
