la parte antichissima sta ormai consumandosi ma dietro il piccolo monastero in stile ladako è tutt'ora funzionante - questa piana verde a circa 3.500 m è la valle del fiume Indus (importante fiume che nasce dal monte Kailash in Tibet-passa il Ladakh e attraversa buona parte del Pakistan- quindi sfocia nel golfo arabico
