Santuario di Gibilmanna --- La domenica di Pasqua del 5 aprile 1534, una nave che trasportava la statua della Madonna con bambino, si rifugiò da una tempesta nei pressi del borgo di Castello di Roccella. La leggenda narra che Maria apparve a un frate cappuccino che ha vissuto in Gibilmanna, dicendogli di andare a prendere la statua avvolta con una coperta di lana e costruire un santuario. La statua venne caricata su un carro trainato da buoi, che lasciati in libertà, dopo giorni di viaggio si fermarono nel promontorio che sovrasta Cefalù, dove sorgerà l'attuale Santuario di Maria SS. di Gibilmanna.
