Giza a un passo dalle piramidi, il riposo del dromedario. E colgo l'occasione per rispondere, dopo opportuna consultazione, ad un mio amico circa le differenze fra dromedario e cammello. Eccole: La caratteristica distintiva di cammelli e dromedari è proprio la gobba: il cammello ne possiede due, il dromedario solo una. La funzione principali è però la stessa: fornire un deposito di energia a cui attingere nei periodi di digiuno. I cammelli nascono nei territori dell'Asia Centrale, mentre i dromedari si sviluppano nella penisola Arabica. In merito alle dimensioni, il dromedario è solitamente più grande ma più leggero, mentre il cammello è più piccolo e pesante. Caratterialmente, i due animali sono differenti: il cammello è più tranquillo, mentre il dromedario, se indispettito o minacciato, si lascia andare più facilmente a reazioni aggressive.
