Se chiudevo ad f8, per avere un tempo accettabile avrei dovuto alzare gli iso con conseguente aumento del rumore!
Personalmente penso di aver fatto la scelta migliore.
Qualcuno vede del micromosso che io purtroppo non vedo (devo mettermi gli occhiali)

If I closed to f8, to get an acceptable time I had to raise the ISO, thus increasing the noise!

non ho il 100/400 e non conosco a quale diaframma renda meglio. io per le ottiche che ho avuto e per la mia esperienza personale avrei aperto. evidentemente Lauro hai più conoscenza di me sul 100/400. Se mi fossi trovato con i miei settaggi di 300f/2.8 + 2.8, avendo la nitidezza migliore (almeno nel mio caso) a f/8, non sarei andato a f/9 ma a f7.1 o f6.3 per aver un tempo + veloce.
poi logicamente ognuno riporta le sue esperienze
