Guys, just to make things even more clear. I've known the photographer personally for quite some years and know the whole story behind this picture. It is 100% wild, untamed and free ranging animal which he first noticed via camera trap installed. And then it was just a matter of time and a great portion of luck. Once he left that area and after 15minutes he had them on the camera trap...but finally, he was successful.
We in Slovakia have quite a decent otter population and I see them regularly swimming in Orava river from my dad's balcony. But photographing them is a challenge. Requires persistence, that Stokinger has in abundance. He is just one determined mother#ucker! :) |
