1/80 f/2.8, hand held. Pushkar, India.

Hello GiGi!!
Thank you very much for the appreciation that you addressed in this shot and the PP of the color version.
As for the b / w, I went to see my original picture and is quite different from the one posted here with ImageShack .... probably the compression something is lost :-( In any case, you avoid to work because now I I am convinced of the goodness of the color version, thank you anyway for your availability:-P
it is not easy to be versatile!

You're right ... but how can you resist photographing and expand in every genre? I enjoy very much! ;-)
Again a big thank you and a warm greeting:-P

@ Sanja
Hello dearest friend!!
Really thanks for the nice words you dedicate to my shots ... and me!
If I posted the b / w, I would have called The taste of tradition ;-) but, in the end, makes it better the color version.
Thanks again and kisses! :-P:-P:-P

Hello Michael, I also think that the color in this photo is an important precisely because as you said in the caption
The colors are vivid and COOL ALMOST TO WIN THE GREY OF POVERTY
. Everything in this shot takes us to that dimension. A reality for us Westerners difficult to understand.
Many compliments for your image that gives us a fragment of this culture.
Best wishes, stefano.

Hello Michael, perfect title!! "The taste of colors", I think in BN lost its evocative power that you have chosen well ;-)
I'm not so good at making comments like those who preceded me, I'm just saying that for a moment I caught the scent and feel of the place, you have been very good for both the environment and for as you described, sincere compliments: - )

A beautiful photographic story, excellent both versions but the bn as you've been told is a little 'flat, in my opinion should be closed a little shadows ;-)
Congratulations, hello.

@ Stefano Morbelli
A situation that is difficult for Westerners to understand.

Dear Stefano is true what you say ....
In Indian culture, as well as in others, there are often issues that leave us dumbfounded. In India for example, it is absurd for us that cows, considered sacred, do not constitute a source of nourishment in contexts in which children appear malnourished, just as there seems unthinkable that these poor people take away the food from mouth to put anGere offerings to the deities (... even ... embodied in mice). But, in my lucky travel, I learned that when you approach a culture different from ours, if you really want to get in touch with it, we must abandon the mental schemata that belong to us, and respecting customs, traditions and customs, take advantage of this diversity accepting it with an attitude of humility. In doing so, I can say that each of my trip was an opportunity for growth and personal enrichment .... I really believe the words of Steinbeck that I adopted as a "signature":-P
Thank you dear Stephen for your sensitivity and for the nice comment that I've wanted to spend.
Best wishes! :-)

for a moment [you] caught the scent and feel of the place

@ Catherine Bruzzone
A beautiful photographic story

Dear Catherine grazieee!
Your positive comments can only make me happy! :-P:-P:-P
Thank you very much for the advice on the b / w version. As I said before Blue Skies, in reality, the file is not compressed with ImageShack is much more defined inshadows. :-(
A warm greetings and best wishes for a wonderful weekend! :-)

I really like the color version, because for me the color is India and India would not be without
Moreover, the image along with your comment is in full unp insight into life.
I have also been to Pushkar camel fair in November for, it was this event that prompted me to go to India and I keep a great memory (plus a few hundred shots)

Hello Ivan!
Your comment makes me particularly happy because it comes from those who had, like me, the chance to live the unique and very charming atmosphere of celebration Pushkar I described and tried to document some of my shooting gallery posted in India. I'd like to see some pictures you've taken you :-), I hope they publish some!
Thank you very much and I am glad you shared, even reading the caption, my "vision" of the magical country that is India!
