In che senso rientrare??La testa del papa' e' gia' presente nell'inquadratura,c'e' l'occhio,la proboscide e una parte di orecchio..insieme alla mamma per valorizzare un bel "quadretto" di famiglia.Per esporre correttamente ho deciso di stringere,avrei bruciato lo sfondo(il fiume).Credo sia stata la scelta migliore.Tu cosa avresti fatto???

senti spero di aver capito male la "tonalità" delle tue affermazioni, ma rientrare la testa s'intende "tutta la testa" o almeno la fronte, non vedi che l'occhio del papà a stento rientra nel fotogramma? e poi, un po' di sfondo sovraesposto e semmai sfocato poteva anche starci bene.
cmq questo è un mio modesto parere, se a te piace così com'è, nulla osta!

Abbiamo evidentemente 2 modi diversi di interpretare e valutare la foto.La scelta di una ripresa cosi' stretta ha una serie di vantaggi,l'eliminazione di elementi di disturbo e una migliore leggibilita' verso il soggetto principale "il piccolo elefante"
Lo sfodo sovraesposto (sulla sinistra)era praticamente bianco,privo di particolari leggibili,se avessi usato un diaframma piu' aperto non avrebbe aiutato a sfocare proprio nulla.
Viste le condizioni di luce che mi sono trovato, credo di aver scelto la soluzione migliore per riprendere questo momento.Se devo fare una critica a questa foto,sono gli schizzi in primo piano troppo "impastati".Dovevo usare tempi un po' piu' brevi ma tutto sommato l'effetto finale rende l'immagine piu' dinamica e coinvolgente IMHO.
Per quanto riguarda la fronte dell' elefante,non credo sia un elemento cosi' principale.A cosa ti riferisci quando mi scrivi "tonalità"?Mi sembra di aver tenuto un tono pacato.Un saluto,Claudio
We obviously two different ways of interpreting and evaluating foto.La choice of a recovery so 'close has a number of advantages, eliminating hot spots and better readability' to the main subject "little elephant"
The sfodo overexposed (on the left) was almost white, with no particular readable, if I had used a diaphragm more 'open would not have helped to blur anything.
Given the lighting conditions that I found, I think I chose the best solution to take this momento.Se I do a critique of this photo are the sketches in the foreground too "muddy". Times I had to use a little 'more' short but all in all, the final effect makes the image more 'dynamic and engaging IMHO.
As far as the face of 'elephant, I do not think an item so' principale.A what you mean when I scstreams "tone"? Forse non mi conosci...ho sempre accettato ogni critica costruttiva da tutti gli utenti.Molte persone del forum mi conoscono e quasi sempre,dopo le critiche, rivedo la foto per ripostarla(a volte mi convinco altre no).Quando pero'la critica fatta ha poco senso,difendo le mie scelte.

PS:"tu cosa avresti fatto??"Non mi hai ancora risposto,deduco 2 soluzioni possibili:
(1)Un'inquadratura piu' larga e con tutto lo sfondo bruciato.
(2)Foto sottoesposta a tal punto da perdere tutti e tre gli elefanti e uno sfondo,con l'acqua del fiume, esposta correttamente.
Ti ricordo che le condizioni di luce non erano per niente favorevoli...
Maybe you do not know me ... I have always accepted any constructive criticism from all the people utenti.Molte forum know me and almost always, after criticism, I see the photo to ripostarla (sometimes I convince others not). When pero'la criticism made little sense, I defend my choices.

PS: "what would you have done?" You have not answered yet, I infer two possible solutions:
(1) A shot more 'wide and with all the background burned.
(2) Photo underexposed to such an extent losesre all three elephants and a background, with the river water, properly exposed.
I remind you that the lighting conditions were not at all favorable ...
