Chiesa dell'Incoronata al Mausoleo di Vespasiano Gonzaga La Chiesa della Beata Vergine Incoronata, eretta tra il 1586 e il 1588 come cappella palatina e pantheon per la dinastia del Duca di Sabbioneta, spicca tra gli edifici della cittadina come una presenza imponente e austera, quasi simile a una fortezza. I visitatori restano sorpresi nel varcare la soglia e scoprire un interno elegante, luminoso e riccamente decorato. L'intera superficie interna reca una sfarzosa decorazione settecentesca a trompe-l'oeil che provoca uno slancio verso la luce proveniente dalla lanterna, collocata a 38 metri di altezza.
