I had your own thought, in fact I started from the most open diaphragm... Then, since I was shooting from the stand, I decided to shoot even at the next diaphragms, closing by 1 stop at a time! ;-) Looking at the shots from the PC I chose this because the first (more open diaphragm) had a very small pdc and the seedling was partly blurry (I wanted it very sharp): so I got a focus band on the upper third... ;-)

Avevo il tuo stesso pensiero, infatti sono partito dal diaframma più aperto... Poi, visto che scattavo da cavalletto, ho deciso di scattare anche ai diaframmi successivi, chiudendo di 1 stop per volta! Riguardando gli scatti dal PC ho scelto questo perchè il primo (a diaframma più aperto) aveva una pdc molto ridotta e la piantina risultava in parte sfocata (io la volevo ben nitida): così ho ottenuto una fascia a fuoco sul terzo superiore...
