Nikon D6 sotto stress. Superata!

It makes sense. Butterfly on the flower: a gift as beautiful as it is ephemeral, the Milky Way: the limits of reason in its whys... The comfort of faith remains.. ?

Beyond the technical exercise to "stress the D6", I believe that the same result would have been similar by taking 2 or 3 separate shots: one on the butterfly and the foreground flowers, the second on the chiesine and the surrounding panorama and the third (if the milky way had not been included in the second shot) on the sky; joining them, then, in post production much more easily. I believe that mere mortals would prefer this simplified solution! :-) :-) :-)
In any case, good for using the technique used!

I did not understand how the refocusing was achieved : turning the dial manually during the shot ? acting on the live-view? using a motorized micrometric sled? Other?
I didn't understand why this stressed the new D6? Can you also make it with other machines (Nikon D5, D850, Z6 and 7) ?
Do not understand if the result is the photo of a specially set up photo set or a series of particularly favorable in-kind combinations?
Three is beautiful, but the way to achieve it is an important point for any evaluation.

It would be said that stress is good for the Nikon in use.

Beautiful image, is it 2 exposures? Done in multi-exposure in the room or on the PC?
