Stavo fotografando il transito delle automobili... durante il passaggio di una tappa del Gran Premio Nuvolari sull'Appennino Bolognese nei pressi di Monterenzio... quando da dietro una curva apparve questo motociclista che... avendomi visto con la fotocamera in mano... mi inviò un suo saluto che... velocemente... riuscii ad immortalare. Penso che non saprò mai chi era costui e lui... potrebbe non vedere mai questa mia fotografia che lo ritrae...
