Chiesa del SS Nome di Maria, detta Madonna delle Vigne. È situata in un'altura collinare, nella zona di salvaguardia del Parco naturale del Bosco delle Sorti della Partecipanza di Trino. La chiesa, eretta nel XVII secolo su un preesistente edificio sacro, apparteneva al complesso abbaziale di Lucedio e dipendeva direttamente dalla grangia di Montarolo. Oggi si profila circondata da rovi e come ben potete osservare dalla mia foto si trova in stato di completo abbandono da almeno un secolo o forse addirittura due. Non ne resta che una struttura obsoleta e in rovina, visitata occasionalmente da vandali, satanisti e curiosi. È già, satanisti: il luogo, infatti, è colmo di leggende inquietanti, raccapriccianti storie e macabre superstizioni che sopravvivono da secoli. Sabba, riti oscuri, orge, demoni: questi i principali ingredienti della fitta rette di leggende che circolano. Il rimbombo di queste perversioni giunse fino a Roma e nel 1784 venne emanato un decreto papale che sancì la sconsacrazione della chiesa. Ma il vero “must” è all'interno: proprio sopra la porta d'ingresso si trova l'affresco di un organo a canne (un trompe-l'oeil totalmente dipinto) in cui è raffigurato lo "spartito del diavolo" (spero si notino bene dalle mie foto). Si tratta di una storia molto nota fra gli appassionati del genere, e rimanda alla cripta della chiesa di Santa Maria, che sorge nel principato di Lucedio, all'interno della quale pare essere stata intrappolata una presenza maligna, un essere terribile, grazie ad un magico spartito composto da un abate: una sequenza di note in grado di rinchiudere il demone ma che allo stesso tempo è in grado di liberarlo se suonato al contrario. Una leggenda plurisecolare, priva di fondamento fino a quando non ci si accorse della presenza dello spartito all'interno del vicino Santuario della Madonna delle Vigne. Sono stati compiuti diversi studi e lo spartito è stato oggetto di diverse analisi dal quale se ne è concluso che i tre accordi iniziali sarebbero tipici accordi di chiusura (ovvero utilizzati al termine di un brano), e quindi come se fossero stati dipinti al contrario. Si può essere più o meno scettici al riguardo ma la domanda con cui vi lascio è: chi se la sente di sfidare la sorte ed eseguire lo spartito al contrario?
