La Triumph TR 2 era una vettura versione roadster e fu costruita nel triennio 1953-1955. Era dotata dello stesso motore a 4 cilindri in linea... aggiornato e potenziato... della Standard Vanguard Phase II (prodotta dal 1953 al 1956) di 1991 cm3 che adesso erogava 90 cavalli facendo raggiungere alla vettura i 160 chilometri orari di velocità massima. Pure la Triumph TR 3 era una roadster e fu costruita dal 1955 al 1957. Era equipaggiata dallo stesso propulsore della TR 2 aggiornato e potenziato a 95 cavalli che facevano raggiungere alla vettura i 177 chilometri orari di velocità massima.
