Questa versione militare della Fiat 508 (qui in versione Torpedo) fu derivata dalla versione C "Nuova Balilla 1100" e fu costruita dal 1936 al 1945 rimanendo poi in servizio fino ai primi anni '60 (dello scorso secolo). Era dotata di un motore a 4 cilindri in linea di 1089 cm3 che erogando 30 cavalli di potenza portava la vettura fino a 95 chilometri orari. Aveva un cambio di velocità a 4 marce più la retromarcia e le gomme più larghe rispetto alla 508 C per uso civile. Questa nella fotografia appartiene alla Scuderia Autieri d'Italia dell'Esercito Italiano.
