Ci vuole un tele, ideale che arrivi a 500 o 600, buona luce e conoscere il luogo favorevole. Questa foto è stata scattata a Roveredo (GR) all'altezza del campo di calcio sulla strada che costeggia la Moesa. Lungo tutta la strada c'è un parapetto e il sole è sempre alle spalle. Nel greto del fiume ci sono tanti sassi e il merlo è quasi sempre presente in quanto nidifica in quella zona. In primavera, quando usciranno i piccoli, entreranno in attività e sarà facile vederne molti.
