In questa immagine realizzata diversi anni fa mentre mi trovavo a Martina Franca facendo una "passeggiata fotografica", non è solo una foto: è un momento che ho colto, un contrasto vivido tra due mondi che ho visto incrociarsi. Mi trovavo lì, davanti allo storico Caffè Tripoli, un luogo che trasuda storia e "martinesità". Stavo osservando l'atmosfera tipica, quelle conversazioni tranquille e gli sguardi persi nel pomeriggio. Poi, è apparsa lei. Una donna, elegantissima, avvolta in un abito nero e sui tacchi, che avanzava con un'andatura decisa e quasi teatrale. Era un movimento che spaccava l'immobilità della scena. Ho sentito una tensione, uno stacco netto tra la sua figura slanciata e il gruppo eterogeneo di avventori seduti ai tavolini.
