Il Carnevale di Foiano della Chiana è una manifestazione che si svolge in Provincia di Arezzo, è uno dei più famosi e antichi carnevali italiani, risalendo la prima edizione al 1539. Partecipano al Carnevale di Foiano i quattro Cantieri (Azzurri, Bombolo, Nottambuli e Rustici) in cui è divisa la popolazione cittadina. Questi, durante l'anno, lavorano ciascuno su un carro allegorico, cercando di realizzarlo migliore degli altri. Il vincitore si aggiudica la Coppa del Carnevale. Ogni domenica dei corsi mascherati i carri sfilano nelle vie del paese con la loro mascherata che apre la strada al carro, nel momento che i carri liberano il centro storico il Comitato Carnevalesco ha ideato l'immancabile attrazione della "Scoriandolata", dalla terrazza sovrastante la via centrale vengono lanciati centinaia di sacchetti di coriandoli, palloncini di svariate forme e mega palloni colorati che aleggiano nell'aria grazie alla collaborazione dei spettatori sottostanti che li fanno rimbalzare da una parte all'altra per la gioia di grandi e piccini come in questo momento colto.
