Non ho voluto drammatizzare più di tanto per dare "libertà" di interpretazione... io vedo la persona ripiegata su se stessa, il cui pensiero è offuscato e la cui identità è cancellata dal pensiero fisso del gioco e il cui sguardo mira il vuoto...

Secondo me l'unica cosa che stona è il titolo, nel senso che non andava messo nessun titolo oppure uno estremamente generico per lasciare libera l'interpretazione.
Perchè non consentire a chi guarda questa foto di sforzarsi per interpretare il tuo pensiero artistico?
Il grande fotografo statunitense Ansel Adams diceva: "Ho sempre pensato che la fotografia sia come una barzelletta: se la devi spiegare vuol dire che non è venuta bene".
Tu con questa foto non hai da spiegare nulla. Può essere un uomo assorto come dice ranmairs o un giocatore intento a riordinare nella sua testa tutte le carte scartate per rilanciare la sua mossa vincente oppure un uomo devastato dal gioco.
Questa è arte e tanto basta.

In my opinion the only thing that jars is the title, in the sense that was not put no title or a very general to allow free interpretation.
Why not allow the viewer this photo to strive to interpret your artistic thinking?
The great American photographer Ansel Adams said: "I always thought that photography is like a joke: If you have to explain it means that it is not a good picture."
You with this photo does not have to explain anything. Can be absorbed as a man or a player says ranmairs intent to tidy up in his head all the discarded cards to boost his winning move or a man devastated by the game.
This is art and that is enough.
