"Non siamo destinati a salvare il Mondo, ma ad abbandonarlo!" Cit. Il progetto era di trovare una composizione interessante che cercasse di rappresentare ciò che ci contraddistingue di più come specie: il nostro spirito esplorativo! Per avere un elemento che ne fosse una rappresentazione simbolica, mi sono fotografato mentre, con una luce, indico le stelle. Il gesto si esprime rivolgendosi verso l'alto, come a voler esplorare quelle più buie, illuminandole in senso lato. La cupola d'acciaio vicina a me sulla destra, è nel mio immaginario, con tutta la sua bellezza d'oggetto dalle forme e materiali inusuali, una futuristica navicella interstellare. La sua fredda superficie riflette la Via Lattea che fa da perfetto palcoscenico a questa scena fotografica!
